We offer reversible MWACs in three standard colors: purple, blue, and red.
Microwave transparent object coated with reversible compositions has response time between 3 -10 seconds for standard conditions:
Magnetron output power: 1.0 kW
Ambient temperature: 77 F (25 C)
Cavity volume: 1.0 ft³ (28 dm³)
Response time - 3 seconds
Response time - 7 seconds
Response time - 10 seconds
Reversible MWAC coated on a microwave absorbent material has considerably longer response time.
In combination with microwave sensitivity, our reversible compositions could be used as color temperature indicators.
Color changing temperatures are:
Purple - 88 F (31 C)
Blue - 113 F (45 C)
Red - 122 F (50 C)
